An alternative to sensor pads, this PIR (Passive Infrared) alarm system provides you with simple, safe and dependable motion detection to help manage patient care and fall prevention. It is a state-of-the-art early detection and warning device that will give peace of mind to care givers. The PIR alarm has a thin, curtain-like motion detector beam, which only monitors a narrow area beside the bed. When the beam is interrupted, the sensor detects motion and triggers the alarm. The system is cordless, which eliminates a potential tripping hazard or accidental wire pulls. Features: Mounting clamp, on/off switch, low battery warning light and reset button. 9 volt battery included.
